Dress to Express’s products are handmade by Carla Hattingh.
Our mission is to help our customers to express themselves in a way that allows them to carry themselves with pride and feel beautiful at the same time. Millions of people hide their uniqueness for various reasons, such as feeling ashamed of who they are, or where they come from. Our goal is to eliminate this Shame.
Dress to Express believes everyone should be proud to show the world their true selves regardless of their race, weight, gender, and sexuality. Be proud of who you are, because at the end of the day who you are does not define you as a person. Your actions define you.

Dress to Express donates a minimum of 10% net profit to charity organisations, such as Friends of Ferals, Free Me Wildlife centre and the South African Red Cross society. Friends of Ferals and Free Me Wildlife centre are dedicated to helping animals in need
The South African Red Cross Society is a humanitarian movement. The Society has dedicated themselves to helping individuals who have been affected by a natural disaster or conflict.
You are also welcome to donate to us, helping us buy food and pay for petrol, via our Paypal.
Our YouTube Channel
Dress to Express has a YouTube channel which consists of videos to demonstrate how we make our products. We also use our channel to provide our customers with a monthly newsletter, in the form of a video. These newsletters contain information about the ways in which people express themselves, as well as educating people about the body positivity movement, the LGBTQ+ community, and more.
